Experience the world's largest inland delta - a pristine wilderness paradise where water meets the Kalahari Desert
The Okavango Delta is one of the world's most extraordinary natural wonders. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is the largest inland delta on Earth, where the Okavango River fans out into the Kalahari Desert, creating a lush oasis teeming with wildlife.
Unlike most deltas that flow into the sea, the Okavango's waters spread across 15,000 square kilometers of pristine wilderness, creating a labyrinth of lagoons, channels, and islands. The annual flood, which peaks between June and August, transforms the landscape into a wildlife paradise.
Experience the delta's magic through mokoro (traditional canoe) safaris, walking safaris on palm-fringed islands, and game drives that reveal Africa's most sought-after wildlife. From elephants wading through crystal-clear waters to lions hunting on floodplains, the Okavango offers unparalleled safari experiences.
The delta is home to over 200,000 large mammals, including endangered African wild dogs, and more than 400 bird species. Its pristine ecosystem remains one of Africa's last great wilderness areas, offering visitors an authentic and exclusive safari experience.
